Default RE: 2009 SE on dealer lot here

Errr. . . The camaro is a much more popular name with a lot more publicity than the challenger. If people are paying 10-20k markup on challengers it will be the same for the camaro in the first few months.

The challenger will not be as commons as the mustang... Rediculous. So many things wrong with that statement I dont know where to start but Ill try.

The mustang has been sold consistantly from 1965 to 2009. As for just the new model mustangs, around 160,000 were produced just for the 2005 model year. Dodge has made around 7000 for the 2008 model year. They're looking at producing around 50,000 for 2009. The challenger is being introduced in a market of $4 gas. The mustang was sold for 4 years with $2 gas.

The only car that even has a shot at being as common as the mustang is the camaro. I would be surprised if they sell half as many camaros as they do mustangs. And I will be surprised if they sell half as many challengers as they do camaros.

But hey if you have that much faith in the challenger then more power to dodge
