And if we end up with a repeat of the 70s, production could stop after 3 model years (actually FIVE model years in the '70s) while the mustang keeps on going, that would limit its presence as well.

Certainly you jest! SOME of us waited 34 YEARS for the return of the Challenger. Yeah. SOME of us have been loyal to Challengers that long. Dodge should have kept making them, like Ford did with the Mustang. I certainly HOPE the Challenger's presence is NEVER limited again. And if that drives down the price of the "collectors edition" 2008s, so what? Personally, if I had an 08, I'd NEVER get rid of it, just like I won't my 09s. "Collectors" can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.
