the dealer didn't say anything to me about a break in period but there were a couple of posts on here about it.I had mine to 140 in the first 150 miles LOL,the only MAJOR concern I think is to vary your speed don't hold the same revs all the time.by the time I had 700 miles I was at the 1/4 mile track.but I just did the 1000mile oil change at 900 miles
