Why in he11 would you want an RT if you are concerned with performance. Get a clue!
You don't really need to talk down to members like that. All this get a clue crap...........ugh
wsm, for one thing, $11-$12K may not mean a lot to you, however to others it may be the final decision by either the bank or future owner whether to buy or not.
Another thing is that we really haven't seen any concrete test results on either the manual or auto R/T, so basically there isn't any baseline for performance as there is with the SRT8. Like the original poster I am concerned that a new R/T won't even be able to beat a Mustang (high 13's). Also whether you like the magazines or not, it does at least give you something to go by.
What some of you guys who are thinking R/T might need to do is chill for a couple of months and see what develops.
wsm, I can afford the $11K + difference between the SRT8 and R/T, but just because I can afford it, doesn't mean I will spend it. This is why I started a thread about whether the SRT8 is worth 11K more than the R/T. It was about getting ideas going.
