R/T starts at 29,995. (Destination included) If you get the J package for 2 grand, and the six speed package for a grand, you have a nicely equipped car for 33K. 33 is a long way from 40. That's a year of groceries for a small family. Or a 40" tv on every wall of your living room if you're single
That is a good difference, the dealership I was at has them priced between 33-37 k is what they told me, because of the slight markup and whatnot. If the RT's actual sale price ends up being over 35k I would go with an 08 SRT, but of course those are going to be gone in a few months unless you find a used 08 srt. Personally I am going with an 08 SRT, whether it is new or slightly used has yet to be seen.
