Got to share this w/ y'all. My local dealer, not the one I ordered from, had an SRT on order in mid Dec. I called them and made an offer as it had what i wanted and right color. Offer was 1000.00 over msrp, and the GM accepted the offer over the phone. I show up 30 min later and they reneg and say it would be 10,000.00 over instead. Told them politely to stick it. Well, they got this car in 2 months ago and had all their customers bidding on it and they said the high bid was 15,000 over about 4 weeks ago. A few minutes ago i got off the phone w/ a salesman that said the car is still there and they want 49,000 but that it would be sold as used and it has 200 miles on it. WTF. Salesman said something about the deal going sour a couple of weeks ago and they were now selling it for a "friend". I dont believe him and what i think is someone bought the car and it was not perfect and they complained to Dodge strong enough that the Ahole dealer had to buy it back as used. Anyway, probably a mess no matter how you slice it and serves the dealer right, there is a God you know.
