I agree with you on the matter that you national language must be english, is part of your culture and pride... as I agree that I my national language must be spanish forever (not that any other language is threathing to take over) this is just an opinnion.

I speak english and spanish and I'm starting my french classes....and I'm a proud Mexican citizen too... I ain't trying to create rivarly with you guys, just to express we have the same patriotic feeling for our respectives countries.

Jeremiah 29:11 that's a nice history.....I move around Texas a lot for the last year... Dallas, Tyler, Houston, San Antonio.......
Don't worry, your not creating a rivarly, your wanting to maintain your countries national language just like we in the U.S. are wanting to maintain our national language. I my bias opinion, if a person wants to change the language system in the U.S. to attempt to force us to use a different language, they are being very arrogant and does not fully appreciate the country they live in. I also believe that if a person from the U.S. decides to move to a different country, they need to learn that country's national language and they shouldn't expect the country to change just because a person is arrogant and lazy.

Knowing a second language is a good thing to have. It helps with dealing with international affairs and it is nice to maintain your ancestor's heritage. Even though I don't like what Germany has did during the 1930s and 1940s (nor do I like their lack of appreciation for what we have done for them in recent years), I like being able to speak German. It is unique. My family has been in the U.S. since 1849, so we have no ties to those terrible things they did.

I'm glad to hear you feel patriotic about your home country. It is healthy to have a feeling of patriotism. There are some people in the U.S. who believe that patriotism is a bad thing. These people have a serious national loathing issue. They set unrealistic, impossible standards to where if the country has been anything less than perfect in any point in history, then the country must be completely evil. These people need to be sent to a nut house, or better yet, they need to be sent to countries such as China and see how nice it is in the U.S. They don't appreciate how good we have things.
