Also, DOMESTIC oil companies make a good profit that's true. But it's nothing that really makes me feel like they are the major source of the issue. Exxon for instance made something like 40 billion in profits last year - but it was on 400 billion in revenue. That kind of margin is not a gouge IMO. I know people that think 10% on a commodity like gasoline is still to much but I disagree. 10% off at the pump is not what we want to see. Try 35-40% off. That's what it would take to stop the bellyaching.
