I talked with a Joe Sopata from the EPA today, a very enlighting conversation. Joe mentioned that ONLY oil refineries in the Rocky Mountain region puts MMT into their pump gas. The rest of the USA does not have any MMT in the pump gas. So NO DAMAGE to our emissions, O2 sensor or catalytic converter plus NO spark plugs fouling. VERY GOOD NEWS !!!!! He broke down the difference between the refiners and the distillers, as to which additives are put into the gas by the various oil companies. Texaco is different than Exxon, versus Chevron is different from Hess. BUT if Texaco has a limited supply of 91 octane fuel, Exxon will buy from a Texaco refinery and put the Texaco gas into the ground tanks at a Exxon gas station. So after all is said and done, " Joe says," all gas is the same from one gas station to another gas station." Most gas pumps have labels on them stating the same RON
