hey man I have an 03' Ram with a Hemi single cab... and trust me bro you want some rear weight... you can't really lock up the tires... I've read about people manually shifting throught the gears but i've never tried... the best way i've been able to launch mine is to kinda stab it but not too much to where the tires peal and then punch it... Kinda like your double pumping the gas pedal... otherwise if you just go all out on a stop you'll burn the tires through first gear till they catch in 2nd... i can get about a good 20-30yards at least down the road just walking it down the road peeling them... It's fun but not very fast or effeicent...
