I just learned yesterday my 09 SR8 6sp went /D/ status. I guess that means it is scheduled to be built - but what does that mean? Scheduled? I can not find anywhere this "schedule" and my dealer tells me, just as soon as they know they will tell me. So what is the general observation here? How low from D to gate-line? Then how long from gate-line to KZ?
I have started holding my breath. Am I prematrure?

From what I have seen the D status means the car has been assigned a VIN# and now has a
firm schedule. From what I have seen though a
firm schedule is actually a
firm tenative schedule... meaning that schedule date may or may not be accurate.
I guess bottom line is that it just means that now you are
really waiting... for real...
