Default RE: Anybody lease? quoted 49% residual, MF .00215??

BLK - funny, I too leased an H3. One of the best deals on a car I ever got, residual was ridiculously high (68%) and I got supplier pricing through one of the internet forums (about $4k off sticker). Of course with the current financial markets those residuals will never happen again. Depending on the car and deal sometimes I prefer leasing, sometimes buying. I liek the idea that the leasing caps my downside (ie if I want to get rid of the car, I know whats its going to cost), if I get hit I'm not locked into selling a hit vehicle etc. However, from what I have seen I think a challenger may make more sense to purchase, especially as without Chrysler leases there will be no supported residuals or MFs.

thanks
