RE: SRT on Speed Tv- Sept. 27
Every one who drove the Challengers gave a big thumbs-up and had the Challenger "grin". A few noteworthy moments:
1. Kyle Petty's remark that the 6-speed exhaust sounds like the old Hemi. He said even his hard-of-hearing father could hear it.
2. Tommy Kendall's remark that the big Brembo brakes on the 20" wheels help the ESP by requiring a light touch to maintain chassis stability.
3. The 170 mph top speed hit on a dry lake bed in cross winds.
