RE: 2009 Dodge Challenger SE Fuel-Economy Marathon Test Drive: Can V6 Thrift and Retro Design Hit 25 MPG
Supposedly for 2010 Dodge is going to have the 260 hp 4.0 "Phoenix" V6 as standard in the Challenger with at least a 5-speed (hopefully a 6-speed) automatic transmission. It won't come a minute too soon.
I wish Dodge could up the hp to around 300 and offer a 6-speed manual with this engine - it CAN be done if Dodge would just get off their collective duffs and do it.
