RE: NEWS FLASH....Chrysler talking merger with GM (NO KIDDING)
Today, I read that the GM - Chrysler talks are dead. They say that misery loves company, and that would have been the result of this merger.
I really pray that Chrysler can survive the current economy.
It would be a great shame for such a great company that builds truly great cars & trucks to just disappear.
Someone must the smarts to keep this great company running.
When Nissan was headed to bankruptcy a few years ago, the French (Renault) stepped in and bailed them out.
They have never looked back, and Nissan is a strong player. (I have owned five INFINITI cars in the recent past - and they far better than Lexus)
The acquisition by Cerberus was at fire sale prices by Mercedes. They got a real bargain, but with this economy it takes large piles of cash to stay alive.
Being good these days is just not enough.
So..my fellow Challenger owners, let's pray for MOPAR's continued existence.
