What's this variation in the amount of gas in the car at delivery time? Mine had a little under a quarter tank (which I thought was more than I'd expect - I figutred they'd just put a splash in them at the factory for a quick test run & then to load & unload off the truck).

But someone above said they had 3/4 tank full from the factory? Wow....
