Actually, I think getting rid of the engineering staff is a brilliant move. If Henry Ford had done that after the Model T was designed, Ford Motor Co. would still be a highly profitable company producing just one perfectly good, truly retro-looking car instead of trying to compete in a global market place with a whole bunch of different vehicles that need constant updating. FoMoCo would have saved BILLIONS of dollars over the years and undoubtedly be the undisputed king of the automotive world!
