Default RE: Challenger Article - September 2006

As you can see the insider information discusses 1st year will be 30K units with a 5.7L. If this is true that is not a lot of units.

This says the 6 speed option may be delayed because it requires crash testing (since it is an integral part of the structure) which would add delay and costs.

I guess the lesser 5 speed is not an integral part of the structure? Expect the 6-speed in 2009?

Expect to see a 3.5L V-6 and a 5.7L with a 5-speed autostick with a 6.3L in 12 months along with a 6-speed.

Personally, I will probably be patient myself to get the version I want.

Only $3K more than a comparable Mustang........that would be cool.

The only thing is I do not know how accurate this information is, so we will still need to look for data points.

Anybody have any?
