Default RE: GM / Chrysler story

ORIGINAL: whiplash

I guess my big concern as someone who now owns a challanger and the rest of my family that owns chrysler products, which is almost all of them, what happens to us and our warranties and that jazz. I'm guessing if they get bought out the new company wouldnt have to honor any of chryslers commitments? I'm not business savy so I dont know how that stuff works. Its going to suck trying to get work done and parts for a car if there is no one to honor the warranties and make the parts. I hope i didnt just buy a 30k dollar lawn ornament.
I am not sure either but since they would be buying chrysler and not because of reorganization (bankruptcy), believe they have to honor commitments made to chrysler customers e.g. warranties, 2.99 gallon gas for three years, etc.
