Even if it does, a muscle car fan is not going to be persuaded by a car like this. Hyundai would have better luck pulling sales away from the CL-class, BMW M-series, and Infiniti G37 other luxury manufacturer models than this. The idea that a person who likes a bold, aggressive styling is going to be swayed by a weak looking attempted luxury model is delusional. There is more to taking away customers than just featuring a better performance numbers. If it were based purely on performance numbers Japanese attempts in the segment would have taken it away years ago with the Eclipse, 3000GT, Supra, Celica, EVO, etc. and at least those didn't look slow and lame.
