Default RE: Traction Control vs Electronic Stability

ORIGINAL: mjorgensen

The traction control limits wheel spin and the ESP or stability programming will keep the rear of the car behind you in a slid or aggressive manuver.
Thank you...

Do you know specifically what the Tracking Control is doing to limit wheel spin?
For example, the R/T does not have LSD... how does it work now?

From what I read the ESP works by appling individual brakes, and controling throttle to control over/under steering... this makes sense to me.

But what I do not understand is what exactly Traction control is doing given that the car has an open differential.
