The traction control uses the same technique for controlling traction by applying the brakes to each wheel.
So with that said....
Being that the car has an open differential, no LSD.... if one wheel is spinning in the mud and the other is on solid ground doing nothing, the brake would be applied to just that one wheel spinning in the mud, thereby transfering the power through the open differential to the wheel on solid ground?
