Second gear is my favorite. The car digs just right even driving around town. I have only seen the skip shift a few times. This is an odd feature that I would like to turn off. The owners manual describes the feature and defines the very narrow range that it will engage. As I am not at all concerned about gas mileage and I try and avoid that area of the envelope.
