IF, you want to remove them....just don't wait for months to do it as the paint under the stripes will look darker than the surrounding areas that are directly in sun light. May not be a major problem in your area, but in places like here in the Southwest the summer sun does a number on the paint. That is why my car has a car cover on it while at work...
