I've got the movie in VHS and have paused the film of the crash and it sure looks like a 67 Camaro to me. I too had a 71 Challenger with the 340 and it was a very respectable car. Mine was a convertible with auto and 3.23 gearing. I think the 09 would hands down thump it. The 340 in a Duster and 3.91 gears would give any big block car with highway gears all they wanted. I raced such a car with my 70 GTX when it was new and just beat it by half a car.
