In Georgia, tickets for 10 and over the posted limit the money goes to the state. For 9 and under the money goes to the locals. I bet both cops were locals and not staties... Oh yeah, the insurance co doesn't give a crap. They get you for all they can either way.

I believe my luck has spilleth out onto the pavement this week. Tuesday heading to lunch / preconstruction meeting I was clocked doing 60 mph in a 45 mph speed limit. The nice police officer gave me a break for the Christams Holidays with only a ticket for 9 miles over said it would save me a $100. I told him thank you and that a warning would have been a better present. The bad part is that I was disappointed that my autograph was requested while driving the Sporttrac not hte Challenger. Well today my wish came true, yep, I got another speeding ticket doing 60 in a 45 on another road. Unbelieveably, this nice police officer said he was giving me a break for doing only 9 mph over as well. I have never done anything close to that in 35 years of driving. I'm sure my insurance company will be monetarily understanding as well. So guess what I'm getting for Christmas?
