Somewhere a month or so I read that they had been producing roughly 3000 per month. Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec = 5 months * 3000 = 18,000 (and with the plants being closed for awhile in Dec? the # might be more like 17,000).

So I would hazzard to guess your method may be fairly accurate!!!
