Default RE: New job for Challenger

Roswell, I'm sorry to hear about the break-in. I would like the others said, recommend that you get a security system and if you haven't already get a firearm for extra protection just in case you need it. If you decide to get a dog as 70sguy recommended, I would suggest you get a dog that are used as a guard dog. My aunt had a lab and that thing was a total coward when there was a break in.

A funny thought that dawned on me is I would love to see the expression on any thief's face if they decided to break into our house when they saw the jackpot of outdated junk we have. Our 20 inch RCA TV from 1991 I'm sure isn't in very high demand these days, nor would the 1993 Magnavox VCR, nor the who knows what year Panasonic stereo with a record player (unless the thief likes records), nor our half broken DVD/VHS player (hence the mentioning of the VCR earlier). I doubt they would be interested in our noisy, power hog microwave from the 80s that takes over double the time to get anything cooked, our deep freeze freezer (which I nickname the coffin) from I guess the 1950s which weighs about as much as a tank, our furniture probably would not be of any interest unless they like tacky old junk that has no real significant value that has been refurnished cheaply and needs to be refurnished again. The only thing I could see someone raiding us is if they are a compulsive book worm and has an obsession about the particularly on the Civil War and WWII. Other than that, we don't have much to offer; however, it could be a deadly decision with our collection of rifles and shotguns. My brother's apartment on the other hand, would be like trying to steal a bag of chips from a military base. He has enough guns to start WWIII and uses them regularly.
