Default RE: New RT ordered

Slip,
Nice choice . I pick mine up next week.[sm=happy046.gif] Dealer had it on the lot. Hemi Orange 6-speed, 27J package, EC Group, Sound Group II, Track Pak, Power Sunroof, High-Intensity Headlamps, Hood 2 Fender stripes, GPS, compact spare. Pretty much everything except for the block heater. (my diesel ram has that, understood). Sticker was $39,605. I walked in & offered $37K cash. He then showed me the original invoice page for the machine which was $37,438. Then he shook his head & said "sorry we don't wheel & deal on the latest hottest car on the market." He went to that hidden office in the back that we all know is there somewhere then 10 minutes later he came back & told me luckily the employee pricing was still in effect. I paid the employee price of $35,916. When I finished with tax & all, end price was $39,303. For ev1 reading this, you may think I am insane. As we all know interest rates have dropped so I did a re-fi on my mortgage & took some cash out as well. Challenger paid in full, all mine. Yes, this may be nuts but I just HAD TO HAVE THIS CAR. (I am 46 & haven't purchased a new vehicle for myself in 13 years.) Especially since I just happened to find this gem laying on a lot. No order & wait time. Awesome, can't wait. Garage is ready to store her until the snow is gone. Happy 2 join the forum here with people in common.
