I've hit 189 (GPS verified) on my old Busa. 170 (indicated) at California Speedway main straight (AMA configuration). Hitting those speeds on new Literbikes and Hyperbikes (ZX14 and Busa) are no problem nowadays. With improved aeros and HP (160+rwhp) it's pretty common. If it weren't for the worldwide restrictions on top speed (186 mph/300 k/hr) bikes should be in the high 190 mph low 200 mph range by now.
