Most likely. Don't you just love the U.S. gov't, lets just keep the regulations and standards going, forget the expense. Why who cares if the most plain car is $50,000 brand new as long as there is a slightly lower chance of someone getting hurt. This is why cars are getting more expensive all the time. I will agree with certain standards, the seat belts were reasonable, as were the first sets of air bags, but this is getting a little redicilous.
