Default RE: Serious Competition

From magazine reports, the GT is basically getting the same engine tweaks that the 08 or so Bullitt got. So a nice little boost, but not a re-invention of the wheel.

I had the pleasure of sitting in the new camaro at the Chicago auto show, and it has a very cool interior. It also has NO rear vision. The rear window is very short vertically, and the C-pillars are huge. People complain about the Challenger blind spots, but those are nothing compared to the Camaro. The good thing about the horrible rearward view in the Camaro would be that I could pretend to be in a Lamborghini Countach.

Camaro does look good in black, because it helps disguise the mess they made of the front grille.

Sat in the Challenger, and it felt spacious by comparison.

It is inevitable that people compare the three to eachother, but I have a hard time really viewing the Mustang and Camaro as direct competitors. I wish that the Challenger was the fastest car for the money, just as one might wish that one's supermodel girlfriend was also an olympic gold medalist rather than just a college track star. But that doesn't mean you break up with her.
