Eventually, I'll put a stickier tire on it but it will still be a street radial.
In my 06 Mustang GT with 5 speed manual trans, I got to a best of 13.67 at 103 while it was still bone stock, tires and all. With CAI, tune and underdrive pullies I was able to knock it down to 13.26 at 109, again still on the factory stock tires (and that was with a pittiful 2.06 second 60 foot time!).
So, with the Challenger, I want to do about the same thing. See what I can do bone stock, then make a few mods (CAI and tune) and see how much better it can get. I'm hoping it surprizes me on the track.
On my best run of 9.724 at the 1/8th and 14.91 for 1/4 . My 60 ft was 2.358 . I drove off a little easier to keep from spinning so bad. My Mopar Club is having a met at another track next weekend . It is a 1/8th mile track only. Now that I've got pass my many years away from the track . I'll do better also. My mph on that best run at the 1/8th was 76.29 and 96.21 for 1/4.
