Yeah I just let it go. The Chevy boys are all whooping and slapping each other on the back over the test that in looking at it was skewed in their favor to begin with. I know I'm old school when I remember when road test would compare like performance cars to each other. In the 70s Buick and Olds were the high end of the muscle car spector. But they were compared to the lower cost muscle cars because they were performance oriented. But today they stop and say wait that car is $10,000 more, even if they are equals when it comes to performance. I compare it to a rigged fight. But the Chevy boys are happy with the results so they use the story as gospel. The first time an SS lines up with an SRT-8 and the race is close or God forbid the SS goes down... then they get their feeling hurt and spend $$$ trying to find out whats wrong with their mighty SS. That is why on the streets is where the story will develop roots. Mopar guys should be used to it by now and for the most part we are. Mopar builds nice performance cars and then we add the goodies to get the job done better. There will be 100 Chevys to every 1 Mopar. And 50 Fords to every Mopar. But thats what makes it fun to drive a Dodge Challenger or Viper. We stand out and get the attention. Good luck to the Camaro boys and enjoy your new rides... I'll see you on the street.
