This was my first new car experience and I was impressed that my salesman was on the phone almost daily with me telling what cars he could find for me. They have any future business I may have. This was Feb 26th.
My 6 speed R/T came from the first truck load the dealer got. All 6 speeds . And that was maybe a day after they got them . It was marked up $4400.00 over MSRP. But they came down to MSRP . I felt I got a good deal for the time . Wasn't any factory discount then. Or not that I know of last Nov. Dealer to Dealer is very different even now. A guy in our Mopar Club went looking last month. One dealer still had the Red R/T automatic with cloth interior . And wanted $3,000.00 over MSRP. I looked at the same car last Sept. No wonder they still had it. I told them I could buy it for MSRP at some dealer's and they more or less called me a liar. My friend ended up at the Dealer I got my R/T and got a SRT 6 speed. Not sure how good a deal he got though. But he is very happy with it. And he did go to several Dealers before going there.
