Hello guys... I figured it was about time I broke my silence. My name is Steve and I have been lurking here for a couple of months now reading all your thoughts. I waiting for the day when the time was right for me to order my 2010 Challenger R/T, but considering what's happening these days with Chrysler I am not sure if that day will ever come.

I am a die hard Chevy guy, but I have always had a soft spot in my heart for classic MOPAR. When the Challenger came out I fell in love with it's classic lines and attitude. I decided that that was going to be the fist new car I ever bought. So when i got out of college and got my career I started saving for it. I have been saving for the past 6 months and have saved up about 13,000 to put down as a down payment. I am just waiting till I turn 25 in august to get my challenger. Insurance companies do not think a 24 year old guy with muscel car is a good insurance risks. Go figure.

But with what has been happeing in the past month it looks like the challenger may no longer be an option to me in august. So, I think I may be stuck with going with my second choice the Camaro. Don't get me wrong it is a sexy car with performance to make your head spin, but it just does not do it for me like the challener does.

To give you guys an idea of how much the challenger does it for me. Because my grandfather use to work for GM, I get employee pricing on any GM product I want. As you guys know that will save me thousands. I am willing to spend possibly 5 grand more to get a challenger R/T over a Comaro SS. And we all know that the SS will out perform the R/T hands down, so that is how much I love the challenger.

This is just a sad thing to realize I may no longer have the choice to buy the car of my dreams.
