But the posted HP for the R/T have a somewhat higher rating on what the dynos have shown. This same 5.7 in the 2009 Rams is rated at 390. And that is what the dynos are showing. If you think about it 390 vs 425... thats only 35 HP difference and some might think not worth the extra $$$ for an SRT-8. The dealer would have to remind the customer that suspension, brakes and SRT extras as in wheels and interior design are also added. But car guys seem to focus on HP numbers. So why not just say 376 HP and give some room to the SRT-8. If they did the same thing to the 6.1 as they did to the 5.7 the SRT-8s would be putting out over 500 HP. WOW!
