I don't agree with having these dealerships shut down either. The truth of the matter is the free market can dictate this. I really hate the dealership that is getting shut down in my area, but speaking objectively they sell a whole lot more than the many other dealerships in my area. I don't buy into the belief that it will allow new ones to enter. This strategy makes about as much sense as deciding to get rid of your dealerships in a foreign country because it is increase your sales. It is madness done by fools who don't have a clue what they are doing. If they want to improve the dealerships, train the sales staff to cater better to the customer and adopt a more customer friendly atmosphere.
