Starter or Electrical issues?
I am new to this forum and recently purchased a 1972 Challenger Rallye. Car has been running great up until this past week end. Went to start the car and got a rappid clicking noise, which I assume is my starter. Did this once or twice and then started. Drove it for the majority of the day, parked it and the following morning it was dead...no clicking or engine turn. Lights on the car worked, but decided to change the battery any way as it was from what I can tell over 5yrs old. Put in the new battery and now I have nothing not even headlights? Any thoughts on where I should start to diagnose the problem? Could this be solely a starter related issue, ignition switch issue....I am at a loss?
