Default The return of the "Screaming Chicken"

This is another case of trying to cover up what Chevy did to the new Camaro. Did they hit the mark and possibly came-up with a tribute to the original “Screaming Chicken”, or did they hit the wrong bird? You decide… that is if you even care….I personally would like to see it come back so that we could see a complete field of retro Trans Am racing…but the chances of that happening are about as great as my winning the lottery….In other words, don’t hold your breath. Besides, I am already sick of seeing new Camaros, they seem to be all over the place!
This is what one person said about the “new” Trans Am:
The rear end is not too bad, but the high grille and headlights spoil what otherwise would have been a nice looking car. You could rappel down that white cliff below the grille. Compare it to a picture of a '70 to see where Lingenfelter went wrong. The original Trans Am was low and sleek for its day. The high hood and sills on the new car spoil the effect.
