The other day, I came across some of the engine specs on the old 340 engine. I was surprised to see how similar some of the specs actually were. For example:

340 Bore= 4.04 inches
6.1 (370) Bore= 4.00 inches

340 Stroke= 3.31 inches
6.1 Stroke= 3.58 inches

340 Intake Valve= 2.02 inches
6.1 Intake Valve= 2.00 inches

340 Exhaust Valve= 1.60 inches
6.1 Exhaust Valve= 1.55 inches
