Sounds like you"ve replaced everything! Man your right it shouldn't be that hard, I have a 79 Bronco kicking my butt as well(wrong forum eh?) it likes to start in drive so I have to rig the Neutral switch, anyway good luck and hope your on the road soon. Good Luck ....
