Yes, the hood will fit on it exactly. The only difference is the chrome on the front of the 1974 is painted and the 1970 is aluminium. Also the 74 will screw in from the bottom and the 70 will bolt on the side using studs that stick out of the chrome trim. You can use the chrome strip from the 70 and bolt it onto the 74. Then bolt the hood onto the car and your there. hope this helps, Randy.
