Might be a little premature to get excited about pricing on the Challenger. No credible pricing has (to my knowledge) been offered up anywhere. If you want to estimate using Charger numbers or perhaps the sweepstakes valuation I suppose you could make a somewhat educated guess. Still a bit speculative though. Let's face it...the Mustang is the main competitor to Challenger along with the forthcoming Camaro (of course, other options exist but those are the two biggest). DCX (and its dealers) will respect market forces that come with competiton. They also will respect the forces of supply and demand. I think in 2008 you will pay a premium to be one of the first to buy one. By 2009 the Camaro will certainly provide pressure to pricing and I think you'll see a bit of a drop.

I would have to agree with this statement. Look at the new Mustang. in 05 you couldn't get deals. If it was being sold at MSRP or more( some dealers were upping the price by a few grand, and that is what they sold it for, No budging. 06's were close to the same. I was just lucky and was able to use the X Plan. Now it seems a you can get deals, with used ones out now and more out there. I can see this happening with the Challengers and the Camaros.
