Default RE: Email Dodge now! We dont want to pay limited production prices. Link inside.

ORIGINAL: DodgeInfoCenter

I might as well chime being a representative from DaimlerChrysler. I just wanted to stay that we honestly do not know any more information regarding the Challenger then you do at this point in time.

Additional information has not been released from DaimlerChrysler at this time. Until they decide to release such information we are in the dark along with you. It’s not as if we know but choose not to tell you because thats not the case. The only the people who truely know are silenced underneath non-disclosure agreements. I don’t think anyone would risk their career over leaking information like this.

So far we know the following about the Dodge Challenger:
[ul][*] It has been announced as a 2008 calendar year production model.
[/ul]
That’s it.

We have no information regarding drivetrain configurations, standard feature/option package listings, production estimates and pricing estimates. Future updates will be made available on http://www.dodge.com/en/challenger/index.html when announced. Keep in mind that information is subject to change at any time, nothing is concrete until it start rolling off the line.

The last posting was made on July 1st and since then no additional information has been made available. We cannot deal in rumors or speculation, official information regarding the Challenger will be disclosed in the coming future. Please be patient.

Dan, Thanks for the posting. It's tempting to get into a lot of speculation on this and the primary driver is our excitement over this car. The fact that many of us cannot afford to get into cars priced in the $50k and up range (I think) makes this awesome machine all that much more exciting for us. We are hopeful that we can actually purchase a tremendous looking performance car with an exciting heritage that the Challenger posseses and that the premium attached to such things does not put it out of reach for us. We will try (and probably fail many times) to remain patient. Thanks again![sm=smiley20.gif]
