Default RE: 1971 Challenger R/T

Hey not a bad deal. I tracked a 1970 440, 4-speed and a dana rear end car on E-bay motors. The car was a total mess. It had no engine or transmission and the dana had been replaced witha 8 3/4. The cars paint was faded and primed and the interior was piece patched. The car was originally hemi orange. There were 20 bids and the car sold for 10,300. I was shocked at the price to be perfectly honest. But if they spend 20,000 to resore it it will more than likely sell for over 100,000. Not a bad investment. But it makes it harder for car guys to buy the car of their dreams. I'm glad I held on to my Challenger and it will be handed down to my sons who love to ride and drive it as much as I do. So with that said you got the deal of a life time. Enjoy the rebuild, it will be a great time to enjoy your freinds and family as ya'll put this beast together. Its great to watch a car come back from the dead and to be in its prime once again. Take care and be safe, Randy.
