Default RE: Mustang Fans Getting Scared

ORIGINAL: nonsensez9

Thanks. I haven't done much with the Mustang. CAI + 91 oct. tune & 4.10 rear end. M+H drag radials for the strip - going with MT next season. I'm going to take a two weekend road racing course in the summer so I probably should upgrade the brakes. And I am considering a supercharger. Awaiting news on what motor the Challenger will have. 6.1 or better and I will save my money for the Challenger. Anything less I will keep the 'stang and move forward on the s/c

I'd say its a safe bet that the Challenger will at least offer the 6.1L, the real question that we keep fighting about is what the price will be. I'm guessing it will be priced around what the Charger SRT-8 is priced at. We are not sure if the Challenger will offer the new 392 6.4L HEMI that was used in the SEMA Challenger S/S. We'll have to wait and see. I think if it isn't offered as part of the normal line-up, it might be offered as a dealer installation package.
