Default RE: 1970 Challenger Resto

Yeah, Thats the one. Dean Skuza's car! He is really a nice guy! Wonder if he is gonna "upgrade that 5.7 Hemi to the "new" 392 Gary Stanton built Hemi's that MoPar Perf. are gonna sell this coming year which makes a bunch more power than the 5.7. That car while not my cup of tea, is pretty radical with all that Carbon fiber. Wonder how much that baby costs! It also has a modern suspension and electronics. Way back in 98, John Balow's crew put together the ultimate clone, 1964 Plymouth A-990 car,(clone), with a wicked cross ramed 426 SuperStock! Now thats my kinda car, its what I grew up with. He sold it to finance his resto business. It was on the cover of Mopar Muscle magazine in Aug. I think. My R/T is gonna be in an upcoming issue of MoPar Muscle mag. They are doing a tech article on tuning Ma MoPars legendary Six Pack carbs. The "built" 440 SixPack in my Dodge Challenger R/T, Original,N-96 Car is gonna get the "works" done to it and Randy Bolig the editor of MoPar Muscle Mag. wanted to put that tech article in an upcoming issue. The six-pack pro-Max parts went very well and the car made over 360 RWHP on their 1750 mustang dyno which is a very tough dyno. A stock 426 Hemi makes about 300-330 RWHP.
