If you were in their position, I guarantee you would do the same.
You can guarantee all you want to bro but you are wrong, I would not do this. I probably wouldn't last long in the car selling business or maybe I would because everyone would come to my dealership because I was FAIR.
I care more about relationships, friendships, feeling good about myself and being a good person than I do MONEY. So ripping some hard working American off on a new vehicle is not something that I would enjoy doing.
Example, If I owned a Ford dealership, I would have sold my GT500's at MSRP. Money is not everything. I can only think how happy those customers would have been and I can guarantee you that most of them would have come back to purchase additional vehicles from me. America needs more non greedy roll models right now.
