Default RE: On the road again...

Thats right RLSH700,I could not of said it better. I think I like the idea of the pistol grip manual. But if I couldn't, I would opt for the automatic overdrive. I am also planning on supercharging my 71 Challenger. I have to pull the motor and replace the rear seal. The 340 was built in 1986 and only has 25000 miles on it. It runs real strong and shows no sign of wear. It has forged 10-1 TRW pistons and a crane cam. I originally built the car for nitrous, but have never used it on this motor. I think it puts about 325 at the crank. I have looked at the stroker kits that would put it at 392 and over 500 HP. But they are very expensive. So I keep buying body parts and interior parts until I make up my mind. You guys take care, I'm going out to drive the Challenger around on this nice day and have some fun.
